KSH's Attributable Profit More Than Doubles in Fiscal H2

KHS's (SGX:ER0) attributable profit to owners zoomed more than 100% in fiscal second half ended March 31 to SG$1.6 million from SG$539,000 a year earlier, according to a Thursday bourse filing.

Shares of the property developer were up over 1% in Friday trading.

Earnings per share rose to SG$0.0027 compared with SG$0.001 in the year-ago period.

Revenue fell 33% year over year to SG$86.8 million from SG$128.8 million.

The company declared a final dividend of SG$0.01 per share, taking the total dividend to SG$0.015 per share.

International Entertainment's (HKG:1009) indirect wholly owned subsidiary, New Coast Leisure, awarded a contract worth about HK$72.2 million for renovation and construction works at New Coast Hotel Manila, according to a Thursday Hong Kong bourse filing.Shares of the hotel and casino operator were down more than 2% in late morning trade on Friday.The contract covers façade lighting, LED screens, exterior glass replacement, landscaping works, and upgrades to guest rooms and common areas, including air-conditioning, electrical, plumbing, and fire-protection systems.The works are expected to be completed by the end of 2026.

CITIC Securities Shareholder to Inject 16 Billion Yuan in Business

CITIC Securities (SHA:600030, HKG:6030) said it agreed to issue 16 billion yuan worth of H shares to its substantial shareholder CITIC Financial Holdings, according to a Thursday filing with the Hong Kong bourse.The financial services company's shares gained nearly 4% in late morning trade Friday.The company will issue 794.06 million H shares at HK$23.13 apiece to raise funds to expand its international business, the firm said.CITIC Financial is the company's largest shareholder with a 19.84% stake in the business.
