Korea Gas to Hold Shareholders' Meeting to Seek Approval and Elect Two Directors

Korea Gas (KRX:036460) will hold its 44th extraordinary general meeting of shareholders on Aug. 27 to seek approval for the election of two non-executive directors.

Nominees Park Geun-soo and Yoo Bo-ram have been proposed for the positions, according to a proxy solicitation filed by the company.

Shareholders are required to indicate their approval or disapproval for each nominee on the proxy form, with unclear or blank proxies deemed invalid, according to a bourse filing on Tuesday.

The proxy grants authority to designated representatives, Jeong Shin-young or Jo A-ra, to exercise voting rights on behalf of shareholders, including on any amended or newly proposed agenda items that may arise during the meeting.
