Korea Gas (KRX:036460) appointed Hong Ui-rak as its new chief executive officer, effective Wednesday, according to a same-day filing with the Korea Exchange.
Hong will replace Choi Yeon-hye to take over the top role. Hong is a former vice mayor for economic affairs of Daegu Metropolitan City, a former member of South Korea's 19th and 20th National Assembly, and a former CEO of Cronus Korea.
Shares of Korea Gas added nearly 3% in recent trade.
The Kiyo Bank (TYO:8370) said that its board agreed to establish a wholly owned investment advisory services subsidiary in August, broadening its financial services beyond traditional banking, according to a Tuesday filing on the Tokyo Stock Exchange.The Tokyo-listed bank said that the new company, The Kiyo Mirai Investment Co., will provide investment advisory services and will be established with capital of 100 million yen.The operations of the new unit are subject to regulatory conditions, and the company expects the establishment of the unit to have a limited impact on its results for the fiscal year ending March 31, 2027.
Yandal Resources (ASX:YRL) said a diamond drill hole completed below the Flushing Meadows deposit within the Ironstone Well-Barwidgee gold project in Western Australia provided evidence of primary fresh rock mineralization continuity at the deposit, according to a Tuesday Australian bourse filing.The company said the program highlighted the presence of multiple parallel mineralized structures within the hanging wall, above and east of the current mineral resource.It hit an intercept of 4.8 meters at 2.3 grams per tonne grade of gold from 175.2 meters.Four initial follow-up reverse circulation drill holes were completed adjacent to the diamond drill hole to assess mineralization continuity of the recently identified parallel hanging-wall mineralization into fresh rock, the company said.Yandal Resources' shares fell 6% in recent trading on Tuesday.
