Nippon Seiki (TYO:7287) said it completed a 9.98 billion yen share buyback, repurchasing over 3.6 million common shares on Sept. 18, according to a Tokyo bourse filing on Friday.
The Japanese manufacturer said the repurchases were conducted via the TSE's off‑auction Own Share Repurchase Trading System.
The company said the buyback aims to enhance shareholder returns, maintain a flexible capital policy amid business changes, and improve capital efficiency.
