Komatsu (TYO:6301) said it completed a 7.8 billion yen share buyback, repurchasing over 1 million common shares between Sept. 1 and 15, according to a Tokyo bourse filing on Wednesday.
The repurchases were conducted through purchases on the Tokyo Stock Exchange under a 100 billion yen share repurchase program launched on April 30.
The program runs through Sept. 30 and includes the repurchases of about 25 million shares, equivalent to 2.8% of its total outstanding shares excluding treasury shares.
