Kirin Holdings Company (TYO:2503) profit attributable to owners of the parent jumped 92.5% to 101.7 billion yen for the first half from 52.8 billion yen a year earlier.
The beverage company's basic earnings per share jumped to 126.33 yen from 65.22 yen a year ago, according to a Tokyo bourse filing on Friday.
Revenue rose 7.2% to 1.218 trillion yen for the six months ended June 30, from 1.136 trillion yen in the year-ago period.
The company declared a second-quarter dividend of 38.00 yen per share.
For the full year ending Dec. 31, Kirin expects attributable profit of 160.0 billion yen, basic EPS of 200 yen, and revenue of 2.480 trillion yen.
The company plans to pay a year-end dividend of 38.00 yen per share for the current year.
