Kikkoman's (TYO:2801) profit attributable to owners of the parent rose 24% to 19 billion yen in the fiscal first quarter, from 15.3 billion yen a year earlier.
The Japanese food company's basic earnings per share increased to 20.53 yen from 16.24 yen in the year-ago quarter, according to a Tokyo Stock Exchange filing on Wednesday.
Revenue climbed 15% to 202 billion yen in the three months ended June 30 from 175.7 billion yen a year earlier.
Business profit increased 29% to 25.3 billion yen, while operating profit rose 29% to 24.6 billion yen.
Kikkoman maintained its full-year forecast, expecting attributable profit of 61.3 billion yen, basic EPS of 66.16 yen, and revenue of 799.1 billion yen for fiscal 2027.
The company also left its annual dividend forecast unchanged at 25 yen per share, comprising an interim dividend of 10 yen and a final dividend of 15 yen.
