Kelsian Group Unit Strikes AU$500 Million Public Bus Service Contract Extension in Sydney

Kelsian Group (ASX:KLS) unit Transit Systems West signed a two-year contract extension with Transport for New South Wales for public bus services in the inner west region of Sydney, according to a Tuesday filing with the Australian bourse.

Services under the contract will start July 1, with the company securing about AU$500 million in additional revenue over the extension period, per the filing.

The contract includes the operation and maintenance of 528 buses from four depots, as well as a fleet replacement program to supply an additional 151 fully electric buses.

ResMed Completes Acquisition of Noctrix Health

ResMed (ASX:RMD) completed its acquisition of Noctrix Health, a medical device company developing clinically validated wearable therapeutics for chronic neurological disorders, according to a Tuesday statement by the company.The acquisition broadens the company's clinical sleep health portfolio into an adjacent area with significant unmet need, focusing on the treatment of restless legs syndrome, the third most prevalent sleep disorder.The deal includes Noctrix's US Food and Drug Administration de novo-cleared Nidra tonic motor activation therapy, a clinically validated treatment that reduces restless leg syndrome symptoms and improves sleep quality in patients unresponsive to drug therapies.The company said the acquisition supports its 2030 strategy to scale connected home sleep and health solutions.

Infratil Opens Up to NZ$150 Million Capital Bonds Offer

Infratil (NZE:IFT, ASX:IFT) launched an offer of up to NZ$150 million of unsecured, subordinated capital bonds due 2057 to investors in New Zealand, according to Tuesday filings with the Australian and New Zealand bourses.The interest will be fixed for an initial six-year period after which it will reset on June 15, 2032, and every five years after that. The indicative margin range for the issuance is 1.60% to 1.75% per year.The offer is expected to close on June 5, and the cumulative bonds are expected to be issued June 15.The company said it may repay some or all of the bonds early under certain circumstances.The company's Kiwi shares were down nearly 1% in recent Tuesday trade.
