Transportation and infrastructure group Keihan (TYO:9045) has decided to conclude a loan agreement with financial covenants, to be used for business operations including refinancing, according to a Tokyo bourse filing on Friday.
The agreement, scheduled for Sept. 28, involves a syndicate of city banks and other lenders, with a principal of 36.6 billion yen and repayment dates of Sept. 30, 2031 and Sept. 30, 2033.
The loan is unsecured, and the financial covenant requires consolidated net assets at each fiscal period-end to be maintained at 75% or more.
