Kawasaki Kisen Kaisha (TYO:9107) raised its earnings and revenue forecasts for the fiscal first half ending Sept. 30 and the year ending March 31, 2027, on stable demand for dry bulk, according to a Friday filing.
The first-half profit attributable to owners of the parent and operating revenue are expected to reach 86 billion yen and 574.5 billion yen, respectively, higher than the May 8 forecast of 36 billion yen and 527 billion yen.
For the full fiscal year, Kawasaki raised its earnings and revenue outlook to 135 billion yen and 1.07 trillion yen, respectively, from 95 billion yen and 1.02 trillion yen.
