Japanese construction company Kanamoto (TYO:9678) will wholly acquire Takasaki Jimuki and its subsidiaries, TJR and Kondo Lease, to boost its business in Japan, according to a Friday filing with the Tokyo Stock Exchange.
Takasaki Jimuki has a total share capital of 80 million yen.
Kanamoto aims to expand its business and services in the Kanto area by combining its nationwide sales network and customer base with Takasaki Jimuki's expertise in on-site facilities, the filing said.
Takasaki Jimuki provides unit houses, temporary toilets, transportation, installation, and maintenance services, and has a strong customer base and operational expertise in the Kanto area, it said.
Shares of Kanamoto rose nearly 1% at market close.
