Kalpataru Clinches Cluster Redevelopment Project in Mumbai, India

Real estate developer Kalpataru (NSE:KALPATARU, BOM:544423) has secured a cluster redevelopment project comprising five adjacent residential societies in the Kandivili area of Mumbai, India, according to a Monday filing to the Indian stock exchanges.

The project spans 2.8 acres of land with a free sale potential of 0.37 million square feet (msf) carpet area and an estimated gross development value of around 12.5 billion rupees.

The company has already delivered six development projects in the Kandivili area.

Shibaura Machine's Profit Plummets 92% in Fiscal Year 2025

Shibaura Machine's (TYO:6104) profit attributable to owners of the parent plunged 92% to 1.03 billion yen for the fiscal year 2025 from 12.6 billion yen a year earlier.The machinery manufacturer's basic earnings per share declined to 43.51 yen from 529.56 yen a year ago, according to a Tokyo bourse filing on Monday.Net sales dropped 21% to 132.8 billion yen from 168.2 billion yen in the prior year.It declared a final dividend of 70 yen per share, payable from June 16.For the fiscal year 2026, the company expects attributable profit of 2 billion yen, basic EPS of 84.58 yen, and net sales/revenue of 137 billion yen.Shibaura Machine plans to pay interim and year-end dividends of 70 yen per share, each, for the year, which is the same as the amount declared in the year-ago period.

NBCC (India) Wins Two Construction Contracts; Shares Up 3%

NBCC (India) (NSE:NBCC, BOM:534309) received two work orders for construction projects from Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti and Indian Bank (NSE:INDIANB, BOM:532814), according to a Saturday filing on Indian bourses.Shares of the company rose nearly 3% in Monday's trade.Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti awarded NBCC a project worth 69.2 million rupees for extension work of an existing school building and additional staff quarters, the filing said.Separately, Indian Bank awarded NBCC a 356.3 million rupees contract for the construction of office premises in Andhra Pradesh.
