Kajima (TYO:1812) posted a 17% year-over-year rise in attributable net income for the fiscal first quarter to 30.9 billion yen from 26.5 billion yen.
EPS was 66.57 yen, compared with 56.46 yen a year earlier, according to a Tokyo bourse filing on Wednesday.
Revenue dropped 2% to 640.1 billion yen from 649.6 billion yen for the three months ended June 30.
For the fiscal year ending March 31, 2027, the construction company expects attributable net income of 170.0 billion yen, EPS of 368.20 yen, and revenue of 2.900 trillion yen.
The company plans to pay interim and year-end dividends of 73 yen per share each for the current year.
Shares of the company fell more than 1% in recent trade.
