Kaiser Reef Reports Mixed Gold Production Results in June Quarter; Shares Fall 5%

Kaiser Reef (ASX:KAU) said its Henty gold mine in Tasmania produced 5,563 ounces of gold and 5,366 ounces of silver in the quarter ending June 30, while its Maldon gold project in Victoria produced 437 ounces of gold over the same period, according to a Monday Australian bourse filing.

The company produced 4,069 ounces of gold from the Henty gold mine and over 756 gold ounces from the Maldon project in the prior corresponding period, an earlier filing showed.

The company reported a closing cash balance of AU$37.2 million for the quarter and reduced its gold loan by 312 ounces, resulting in a net reduction of around AU$1.9 million.

The company reaffirms its fiscal year 2027 production guidance, targeting 32,000 ounces of gold production across both projects.

The company's shares fell 5% in recent Monday trade.
