JSW Energy (NSE:JSWENERGY, BOM:533148) said it has commissioned the full 150 MW capacity of its Tidong Power Generation project in Himachal Pradesh, India, according to a Friday filing.
The hydropower project, located in Kinnaur district, was commissioned ahead of the company's earlier target of October.
JSW Energy said Tidong Power Generation has a long-term power purchase agreement with Uttar Pradesh Power Corp. for 75 MW during the May-October period at a tariff of 5.57 rupees per kWh.
Following the commissioning, the company's total installed power generation capacity has increased to about 13,900 MW, the filing said.
