JSW Cement (NSE:JSWCEMENT, BOM:544480) consolidated attributable profit jumped to 3.71 billion Indian rupees in the fiscal fourth quarter ended March 31 from 342.2 million rupees a year ago.
Earnings per share were up at 2.75 rupees from 0.34 rupees a year earlier, the cement manufacturer said in a filing to the Indian stock exchanges on Thursday.
Revenue from operations in fiscal Q4 also increased to 18.9 billion rupees from 17.1 billion rupees a year ago.
The company's board recommended a dividend of 0.50 rupees per equity share of 10 rupees for the fiscal year ended March 31.
The company's shares were up over 6% in recent trade.
