Jointown Pharmaceutical (SHA:600998) unit Shandong Jingfeng passed China's generic drug consistency evaluation for trihexyphenidyl hydrochloride tablets.

The anticholinergic drug is used to treat Parkinson's patients and for antipsychotic-induced extrapyramidal reactions, according to a Wednesday filing with the Shanghai bourse.

Shares of the pharmaceutical company were down 2% in recent trade.
