Johnson Controls International (JCI) reported a strong operating beat in fiscal Q3 and raised its 2026 earnings outlook above consensus, RBC Capital Markets said in a Wednesday note.
"The quality of earnings was impressive, including +45% incrementals," the report said.
The note said datacenter business drove the strong 27% total-company order growth from a year ago, and a record $21 billion backlog, up 32% organically.
"JCI's multi-year turnaround story continues to gain traction off its successful June-2026 investor day where they increased
their long-term organic growth algorithm," the report said.
RBC raised its price target to $161 from $154 while keeping its sector perform rating.
