Automotive and motorcycle lighting products manufacturer Jingzhan Transportation Industry (JZSG) is building a new factory in Tainan's Qigu District with an NT$510 million investment after its plan received Ministry of Economic Affairs approval, according to a statement issued by the Economic Development Bureau on Friday.
The city said the plant will introduce robotic arms, multifunction headlamp testing equipment, and related information systems as it gradually establishes a smart manufacturing production line. The investment is expected to create 60 local jobs as the company expands capacity.
The new unit is also expected to lead to the hiring of 60 more local employees.
