Jih Lin Technology (TPE:5285) clarified a media report on its revenue and earnings outlook, saying the projections cited were based on market analysts' estimates rather than company guidance.
A report by the Economic Daily News said Chairman Shang-Yen Tsai was optimistic about second-half performance, with revenue expected to rise quarter by quarter, while earnings per share could reach NT$4 this year and exceed NT$5 next year, according to a Thursday Taiwan EXchange filing.
The company advised investors to refer to its filings and disclosures on the Market Observation Post System for official financial and business information.
Shares fell about 8% in Thursday's midday trade.
