Jiangyin Haida Rubber And Plastic (SHE:300320) elected Qian Zhenyu as chairman of its seventh board of directors and appointed him general manager for a three-year term, according to a Tuesday filing on the Shenzhen bourse.

The company also appointed Hua Ping as chief financial officer and Zhou Pinghong as securities affairs representative, according to the filing.

Hu Yunxin, Peng Xun and Wu Tianyi were appointed as deputy general managers, while Hu Yunxin will additionally serve as board secretary, it said.

Sequoia Financial Group (ASX:SEQ) former Chief Executive Garry Crole has been banned by the Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC) for 10 years from performing any function involved in carrying on a financial services business as a director or responsible manager, according to a Tuesday statement by ASIC.The regulator said Crole failed to adequately respond to serious concerns about the financial advice model used by former Interprac-authorized representatives, who advised thousands of clients to invest superannuation in the now-collapsed First Guardian and Shield Master Funds.The company did not immediately respond to anemail request for comment.
