Steel maker JFE (TYO:5411) has adjusted the conversion price of its zero-coupon convertible bonds due 2028 to 2,647.8 yen from 2,697.7 yen, effective April 1, according to a Tokyo bourse filing on Wednesday.
The adjustment follows the payment of a year-end dividend of 40 yen per common share, which constitutes an extraordinary dividend under the bond terms.
The revised conversion price reflects the anti-dilution provisions embedded in the bond terms to protect bondholder rights.
