Jetema Seeks China Approval for Botulinum Toxin JTM201

Jetema (KOSDAQ:A216080) has applied for approval of its botulinum toxin JTM201, or Jetema dertoxin 100 units, in China, according to a Tuesday filing with the Korea Exchange.

The indication is an improvement in moderate to severe glabellar lines.

The biopharmaceutical aesthetic company has tested JTM201 in a phase three clinical trial involving 506 patients, showing noninferiority to Botox in terms of glabellar line improvements at four weeks after administration.

The trial also showed similar efficacy for the two products after 16 weeks.
