Japan Display (TYO:6740) repaid 2.5 billion yen of its borrowings from Ichigo Trust under a collateralized loan executed on Aug. 29, 2024.
The repayment is aimed at strengthening the company's financial position and reducing interest expenses, according to a Tokyo bourse filing on Tuesday.
As a result, the company expects to save approximately 200 million yen in interest costs for the fiscal year ending March 2027.
