Jain Irrigation Systems (NSE:JISLJALEQS, BOM:500219) swung to a loss in the fiscal fourth quarter ended March 31 with a consolidated attributable loss of 120.1 million Indian rupees, against an attributable profit of 289.1 million rupees a year ago.
Loss per share came in at 0.17 rupees from earnings per share of 0.41 rupees, the irrigation systems company said in a filing to the Indian stock exchanges on Friday.
Revenue from operations in fiscal Q4 increased to 18.2 billion rupees from 17.5 billion rupees a year ago.
The company's shares plunged over 6% in recent trade.
