Tivan Completes Mini-Pilot Program At Western Australia Fluorite Project

Tivan (ASX:TVN) completed a mini-pilot plant program for the Speewah fluorite project in Western Australia, producing 195 kilograms of acid-grade fluorspar product with a calculated average of about 99% grade of calcium fluoride, according to a Monday Australian bourse filing. The program was undertaken at ALS Metallurgy in Balcatta, Western Australia. The benchmark acidspar specification was 97% grade of calcium fluoride.Around 18.5 tonnes of mineralized oxide material was recovered from the project during the metallurgical sampling exploration activities in 2025. The pilot plant processed around 3 tonnes of material through rougher flotation, producing two rougher concentrates for further processing in cleaner flotation. Initially the flotation circuit produced a lower grade concentrate of around 60% of calcium fluoride. The circuit was subsequently adjusted to lower the residence time, significantly increasing the grade to around 80% calcium fluoride. The low-grade and high-grade rougher concentrates were then individually processed in the cleaner circuit producing 195 kilograms of acidspar. The samples will be used to support advanced test work for the definitive feasibility study for the project and the firm's joint venture partner Sumitomo will use them to facilitate further product assessment and marketing.
