J.K. Cement (NSE:JKCEMENT, BOM:532644) received a letter of intent (LOI) from the Indian state government of Andhra Pradesh for a limestone mining lease at Dommarnandyala Block-3 in YSR Kadapa district, covering 1,188 hectares, according to an Indian bourse filing by the company.
Separately, the company also received another letter of intent from the Indian state government of Madhya Pradesh for a limestone mining lease at the Itauri-Jharkhua block in Panna district, covering 349.7 hectares.
Shares of the company rose over 3% at market close on Thursday.
