Isetan Mitsukoshi (TYO:3099) posted an 18.5% year-over-year increase in profit attributable to owners of the parent to 22.3 billion yen for the three months ended June 30 from 18.8 billion yen.
The department store operator's earnings per share increased to 63.75 yen from 51.81 yen a year ago, according to a Tokyo Stock Exchange filing on Thursday.
Net sales jumped 3.8% to 128.9 billion yen from 124.2 billion yen in the year-ago period.
For the fiscal year ending March 31, 2027, the company forecasts an attributable profit of 63 billion yen, a basic EPS of 92.48 yen, and net sales of 562 billion yen.
The company plans to pay a second quarter-end dividend of 40 yen per share for the current fiscal year.
