IPower Plans to Assess AI Infrastructure Hardware Opportunities

IPower (IPW) plans to assess opportunities in artificial intelligence infrastructure hardware, including the potential acquisition or financing of AI compute equipment and related infrastructure assets, the company said Wednesday.

The company said it will explore opportunities in high-performance computing equipment and data center infrastructure, including potential equipment leasing.

IPower said it has not executed any definitive agreements related to its planned AI infrastructure hardware initiative, which remains under evaluation.

Shares of the company were down nearly 7% in early Wednesday trading.
