IonQ (IONQ) announced its sixth-generation Superion 256 quantum-computing platform, the company said Tuesday.
The platform is designed for standard data-center environments, and customer deliveries are expected to begin in 2027, IonQ said.
Separately, the company said it has signed an $8.2 million agreement with Congruity360 to deploy quantum-safe network technology.
Under the agreement, Congruity360 will use IonQ's quantum-safe capabilities, including post-quantum cryptography and quantum key-distribution appliances, to protect sensitive enterprise data for clients across the US, IonQ said.
Shares of IonQ were 5.6% higher in Tuesday premarket activity.
