Intuit (INTU) shares were down about 8.5% in Tuesday trading after Goldman Sachs downgraded the stock to sell from neutral and cut its price target to $276 from $519.
Trading volume stood at more than 5.2 million shares, compared with a daily average of about 4.1 million.
