InSilico Medicine Says No Decision Made on Abu Dhabi Secondary Listing

InSilico Medicine (HKG:3696) said it has not made any concrete decision on a secondary listing at this stage and will make further announcements if there are any material developments, according to a Wednesday Hong Kong bourse filing.

Bloomberg reported earlier, citing people familiar with the matter, that the AI-driven drug discovery company was considering a secondary listing in Abu Dhabi, potentially becoming the first company from outside the Gulf to list shares on a regional exchange.

The report said InSilico Medicine had held preliminary discussions about a listing on the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange as early as this year.

The Vinpac McLaren Vale bottling facility will close later in the year.Endeavour Group's shares fell 4% in recent trading on Wednesday, reaching their lowest-ever point.

CSPC Pharmaceutical's Profit Falls 42% in Q1

CSPC Pharmaceutical (HKG:1093) posted profit attributable to shareholders of 859.8 million yuan for the first quarter, down 42% from 1.48 billion yuan a year earlier, according to a Wednesday Hong Kong bourse filing.Earnings per share at the drugmaker came in at 0.0754 yuan from 0.1291 yuan in the prior-year period.Quarterly revenue fell 7.8% to 6.47 billion yuan from 7.01 billion yuan a year earlier.Despite the profit contraction, the company boosted its R&D spending by 7.7% to 1.403 billion Yuan, dedicating 26.8% of finished drug revenue to advance more than 130 clinical projects and accelerate its pipeline transition.
