Guangzhou Innogen Pharmaceutical (HKG:2591) obtained approval to conduct phase Ib clinical trials for Efsubaglutide Alfa from China's National Medical Products Administration, according to a Monday Hong Kong bourse filing.
The drug is being tested for the treatment of obesity in adolescents.
The company expects to begin the trial in July and enroll around 36 participants.
