Innio, a distributed energy solutions provider, has secured an order for 450 megawatts of power infrastructure from an unnamed US energy company to support the development of large-scale data centers, it said Thursday.
The order includes the supply of the company's Jenbacher J624 containerized gas engines.
"The order reflects continued demand for the company's high-efficiency gas engine technology as data center developers seek off-grid alternatives to constrained grid infrastructure," Innio said.
The engines are planned for delivery in 2028, according to the company.
