Inner Mongolia First Machinery Unit Signs 532 Million Yuan Railway Freight Car Deal

Inner Mongolia First Machinery's (SHA:600967) unit, Baotou Northern Venture, signed a 532.1 million yuan contract for a railway freight car procurement project with China State Railway Group, according to a Thursday disclosure on the Shanghai bourse.

China State Railway purchased C70E general-purpose open-top freight cars, GQ70 light oil tank cars, and X70 container flatcars from Baotou Northern Venture.

The freight cars will be delivered before Oct. 31 to the Xinxiancheng Station of the Hohhot Railway Bureau.

The military and railway vehicle manufacturer's shares rose 1% during the afternoon trade.
