Inner Mongolia Dian Tou Energy (SHE:002128) will invest at least 407 million yuan in a 100-megawatt wind power project, according to a Thursday filing with the Shenzhen bourse.
The SPIC Ejina Banner Wentugaole 100MW Wind Power Project will install 16 wind turbine generator units and supporting box-type substations, as well as a 220-kilovolt booster station and 21.3 kilometers of roads, the filing said.
Construction is slated to last 12 months.
The project could generate profit of up to 147.8 million yuan while operational.
Shares in the coal company rose 3% during morning trading on Thursday.
