Inner Mongolia Baotou Steel Union (SHA:600010) appointed Chang Guoxing chief financial officer, according to a Friday disclosure on the Shanghai bourse.
Chang will take over from Liu Mi, who also stepped down as director of the company.
The steel company's chairman, Zhang Zhao, and general manager, Guo Wei, stepped down, but Guo will remain employed.
Chen Wenzhuo was nominated as a candidate for chairman.
The company's shares jumped 4% during the midday trade.
