Inghams Group (ASX:ING) said it is unaware of undisclosed information to the market that could explain recent trading in its securities, according to its response to an Australian Securities Exchange price query filed with the Australian bourse on Friday.
The query was referring to the change in the price of the company's securities to a high of AU$2.23 from a low of AU$2.08 on Thursday, the filing said.
The company said two separate media articles published on Thursday speculated about a possible acquisition, but confirmed it is not in any discussions and remains in full compliance with ASX continuous disclosure listing rules, per the filing.
