Inghams Group (ASX:ING) said no H5 avian influenza has been detected in its commercial poultry operations or supply chain, with heightened biosecurity measures in place amid the spread of bird flu among wild birds across Australia and New Zealand, according to a Friday Australian bourse filing.
The biosecurity measures include the voluntary housing of all free-range birds, restricting non-essential access to operations and implementing additional cleaning protocols, the filing said.
