Inghams Group's (ASX:ING) said 78% of its contracted grower farms in New Zealand transitioned to Lodestone's solar-backed energy offering from the start of April, according to a Tuesday statement.
Inghams struck an energy partnership roughly a year ago for all of its New Zealand-operated sites to be powered by Lodestone, to ensure that all of the renewable electricity it uses is matched to certified renewable solar generation.
The ongoing collaboration with Lodestone "continues to deliver meaningful sustainability outcomes across our network," Inghams said.
The company's shares gained 1% in recent Tuesday trade.
