Infratil (NZE:IFT, ASX:IFT) said the independent valuation of its roughly 49.7% stake in CDC Data Centres has increased to AU$9.21 billion from AU$7.45 billion as of March 31, according to a Monday filing with the Australian bourse.
The increase came as CDC's independent valuation increased by 23.6% in the June quarter to a midpoint of AU$18.5 billion, driven by growth in contracted capacity to more than 1 gigawatt and the expansion of its pipeline, per the filing.
Infratil's New Zealand shares gained about 3% in recent Monday trade.
