Infleqtion (INFQ) said Wednesday the US Department of Energy awarded it three Genesis Mission projects to accelerate scientific research.
The projects involve collaborations with Argonne National Laboratory, Brookhaven National Laboratory, Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory and the University of Colorado Boulder.
The projects focus on AI-optimized quantum circuit design for nuclear applications, deployable atomic quantum sensing, and nuclear fusion energy research.
The phase I awards aim to build a foundation for future investment and scale by designing research workflows that integrate AI with scientific investigation, according to the company.
Shares of Infleqtion were up 7.7% in Wednesday trading.
