Industrial & Infrastructure Fund Investment (TYO:3249) has secured 8.5 billion yen in new debt financing alongside plans for early borrowing repayments, according to a Thursday filing with the Tokyo Stock Exchange.
The new borrowings, provided by Sumitomo Mitsui Banking and Mizuho Bank, will partially fund the acquisition of a beneficiary right in a domestic real estate trust, scheduled for Oct. 1.
The REIT will also make early repayments totalling 3.9 billion yen on loans maturing Nov. 30, using its own funds.
Following these transactions, total borrowings will increase to over 287 billion yen, while interest-bearing debt in total will rise to 302.2 billion yen.
