India's Motherson To Take Controlling Stake in Rotary Connectors for 5 Billion Rupees

Samvardhana Motherson International (NSE:MOTHERSON, BSE:517334) said on Monday that its board has greenlit the proposal to take a controlling stake in aerospace and defense components firm Rotary Connectors Private Limited for five billion Indian rupees, according to a same-day filing with the bourse.

The company said it will buy a 50.1% stake through its unit, Samvardhana Motherson Adsys Tech Limited. The promoters of Rotary Connectors will own the rest of the firm.

Shares were down 1% in afternoon trading.
