India's engineering goods exports rose 20.7% year over year to $11.5 billion in June from $9.50 billion a year earlier, according to provisional data from EEPC India.
Cumulative engineering exports for the April-June quarter increased 18.1% to $34.1 billion, compared with $28.9 billion in the corresponding period of the previous fiscal year.
The growth was attributed to free trade pacts with key partner countries, exporters' product and market diversification strategies, and the rising competitiveness of Indian engineering products.
