Bharat Petroleum, the Indian state-owned oil and gas company, on Wednesday reported consolidated fiscal Q1 throughput of 10.15 million metric tons, down from 10.42 million tons in the corresponding quarter last year.
For the quarter ended June 30, the company's downstream petroleum revenue stood at 1.595 trillion Indian rupees ($16.51 billion), up from 1.296 trillion rupees in the year-ago period.
Revenues from exploration and production of hydrocarbons stood at 477.70 million rupees in Q1, up from 368 million rupees last year.
In Q1, the group reported domestic sales of 13.62 million tons, up from 13.58 million tons in the year-ago period.
The company reported a 0.29% year-on-year domestic market sales growth for the quarter, compared with reported growth of 3.19% last year.
In Q1, export sales were reported at 510,000 tons, compared with 450,000 tons last year.
