Immutep (ASX:IMM) obtained a fourth patent from the US Patent and Trademark Office related to its cancer treatments, according to a Tuesday filing with the Australian bourse.
The new patent, which covers methods to treat cancer by administering eftilagimod alfa in combination with PD-1 pathway inhibitors, has an expiry date of Jan. 20, 2036, per the filing.
The company is evaluating eftilagimod alfa in a variety of solid tumors, including non-small cell lung cancer, head and neck squamous cell carcinoma, soft tissue sarcoma, and breast cancer.
Immutep shares fell nearly 4% in recent Tuesday trade.
