ImmunityBio Says Anktiva Receives UAE Marketing Authorization for Certain Bladder, Lung Cancers

ImmunityBio (IBRX) said Thursday the United Arab Emirates granted marketing authorization for Anktiva to treat BCG-unresponsive non-muscle invasive bladder cancer and metastatic non-small cell lung cancer.

The approval from the Emirates Drug Establishment covers Anktiva 0.4 mg for intravesical instillation plus BCG to treat adults with BCG-unresponsive non-muscle invasive bladder cancer, and Anktiva 1.2 mg for subcutaneous injection plus immune checkpoint inhibitors to treat adults with metastatic non-small cell lung cancer, the company said.

ImmunityBio shares were up past 4% in Thursday trading.
