An illegal mine in China collapsed and killed five people about a week after the Shanxi mining disaster, state media Xinhua reported Sunday.
The latest mining accident in Huize County, Yunnan Province also left one injured, who is already in a stable condition, the report said.
An investigation into the incident is underway, according to the report.
The incident followed the gas explosion of the Liushenyu coal mine in Shanxi, which killed 82 people. Authorities launched a probe into this incident, which is considered as China's deadliest accident since 2009.
