IJM Unit to Sell Property for MYR48 Million

IJM (KLSE:IJM) said its unit IJM Properties agreed to dispose of a piece of land together with a single-story building for 47.5 million ringgit.

The property, located in Sabah, Malaysia, will be sold to Coupang, the asset-holding company of the Econsave Cash & Carry, according to a Friday Malaysian bourse filing.

The deal is expected to close by the third quarter, the conglomerate said.

Proceeds will be used to pay off expenses and boost working capital.

Ganesh Housing's Consolidated Profit Declines in Fiscal Q4

Ganesh Housing (NSE:GANESHHOUC, BOM:526367) consolidated profit fell to 613.6 billion Indian rupees in the fiscal fourth quarter from 1.65 billion rupees a year ago, according to an Indian bourse filing on Friday.Earnings per share in the quarter ended March 31 dropped to 7.36 rupees from 19.78 rupees a year earlier.The real estate company's revenue from operations plunged year on year to 950.6 million rupees from 2.51 billion rupees, the filing said.The company declared a final dividend of 1.50 rupees per share for the financial year ended March 31.Shares of Ganesh Housing were up nearly 2% at market close.
